Kuwait Gulf Oil Company K.S.C.C (KGOC) was established on 10th February 2002, as a wholly owned subsidiary of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation for upstream oil and gas operations. KGOC represents the interest of the State of Kuwait in the Partitioned Zone (PZ). The PZ lies alongside the border between the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The natural resources in the PZ are shared equally by the State of Kuwait and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. KGOC conducts operations in the PZ, partnering with representatives of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Aramco Gulf Operations Company, Ltd. (AGOC) at Khafji and Saudi Arabian Chevron, Inc. (SAC) at Wafra. The Onshore Operations covers an area of approximately 5000 square kilometers located in the Partitioned Zone between State of Kuwait and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The natural resources contained therein are equally shared by both countries. The area is currently operated jointly by Kuwait Gulf Oil Company (KGOC, representing State of Kuwait) and Saudi Arabian Chevron (SAC, representing Kingdom of Saudi Arabia). The operations are managed by Wafra Joint Operations (WJO). WJO assets are staffed and funded equally by KGOC and SAC to explore, develop and produce oil and gas out of several fields and reservoirs in the area. Upgrade/replacement of the MGC PCN project's existing Custody transfer Metering control systems software and hardware for the Automated Custody Transfer unit (ACT), Storage shipping facility, and Meter proving facility, respectively. The SCADA system was upgraded into new Proficy iFIX v2023 with networking and synch failover for all time access of data and working of Plant to be worry free. New functions such as reports, Historical Data logging were provided as per requirement.
