L&T Howden is in the business of Regenerative Air-Preheaters and Variable Pitch Axial Fans (equipment, after-market spares and services) for power plants. TH has established Manufacturing Facilities at Hazira, Gujarat - at L&T’s large manufacturing complex. The facility is spread over 5 acres of land and well equipped with high-class production equipment and automated testing facilities. With a range of customized designs, proven credentials and advanced manufacturing facilities LTH efficiently meets customer requirements. For this project, we Upgrade Fan Test Bench SCADA system with new GE Proficy iFIX V6.5 Standard Development SCADA Software 300 Points I/O Key. Add and modified field instrument data in Mitsubishi PLC & iFIX SCADA, also Fan test Calculations updating using SQL server. Upgrade All Reports as per BS EN ISO. Thus, for the process of Fan testing to be smooth and fluent, the SCADA system plays an important role as it provides Data, reports, Graphs and simulations of the test done which helps in making a Quality product.
