Balaji Industrial Services has successfully upgraded the IRM Energy SCADA system by migrating the existing iFIX platform from version 6.1 to iFIX 2024, significantly enhancing system performance, reliability, and cybersecurity. The upgraded solution includes a Head Office (HO) SCADA server located in Ahmedabad as the primary server and a Backup (BK) SCADA server located in Banaskantha for redundancy and high availability, along with five iFIX client systems deployed at Diu, Deesa, Fatehgarh Sahib, Namakkal, and Trichy. As part of the upgrade, all existing SCADA graphics, tag databases, alarms, and historical data were migrated and validated. The project also implemented an advanced reporting framework including DSR (Daily Sales Report) and JMR (Joint Meter Reading Report) with daily, weekly, and monthly generation, along with 115 CNG station-wise sales reports featuring fully customized filters for each station and a powerful report search facility based on user-defined criteria. In addition, an Operations Hub dashboard was deployed for centralized visualization, supported by historical trend clients, historical data analysis, and a customized reporting tool to meet operational and management requirements. A dedicated webspace for remote monitoring was also provided, enabling authorized users to securely access real-time and historical SCADA data from remote locations, resulting in improved operational visibility, analytics, and decision-making for IRM Energy.
