Balaji Industrial Services has successfully completed the SCADA upgrade project for Intas Pharma, Ankleshwar, migrating the system from FIX32 to GE iFIX 6.5, along with Historian v9.1 and IGS v7.68 communication driver to acquire data from Koyo PLCs. As part of the upgrade, new SCADA graphics were developed for 8 fermenter batch processes, enabling real-time monitoring and control. The system now features comprehensive alarms for all fermenters, detailed batch reports, and historical trend analysis through Historian Trend Clients for all fermenters, allowing operators to efficiently manage the entire batch process. The upgrade also includes 21 CFR Part 11 compliance, ensuring electronic records and signatures meet regulatory standards, enhancing data integrity, security, and audit readiness for Intas Pharma’s fermentation operations.
