Balaji Industrial Services carried out the upgradation of the SCADA workstation systems for the MOCVD and FAB areas, enhancing reliability and safety monitoring. The project involved upgrading GE iFIX from version 5.1 to iFIX 5.9 and IGS (Industrial Gateway Server) from version 7.55 to IGS 7.68, enabling seamless communication with Dräger REGARD Modbus Control card. The upgraded system supports real-time data acquisition and emergency gas alarm generation. Two servers were configured—one installed in the FAB Area Control Room and the other integrated with the FIRE AND SAFETY DEPARMENT (FCMS)—to ensure centralized monitoring, high availability, and improved operational safety across critical areas.
